call it "traveling from one place to another." Yes, I traveled from the place
where I was a small bird dreaming to fly but couldn't to a place where I am
ready to spread my wings and fly up high in the sky.
I have always had this passion for teaching ever since I was a young child
where I used to have imaginary students and explain lessons for them to
reach high school as a literature and humanities student that graduated from
Saadnayel High school. I also graduated from Omar El-Mukhtar Education
Center when I reached grade 9. I had this passion for teaching ever since I
was 7 years old. And it grew with me as I grew up and led me to now become
a TEFL and TD student at LIU, who's graduating in a couple of months.
I started what I would like to call "my educational journey" of teaching the
moment I entered university and majored in TEFL. I had a completely different
view of teaching and I used to think that teaching is the easiest job a person
could ever do. By then, I didn’t know the real meaning of teaching. A person
can put hypotheses to all things in life, but he can never predict how hard
teaching is. I learned that a teacher must be ready for classroom
management, plans well before going to class, put exams, correct exams, in
addition to dealing with kids who have disorders, problems and are poor
achievers.
